I am always searchhing for music that I like. Music thats sounds like such-and-such band or is kinda like this song or...wait I can humm you the chorus. Ever had that experience with the local dropout working at the only record store in town. I have. And its painflul! Issue 1 "I like to Score"

As this is the first blog for i likegoodmusic I thought I would talk about how I like to Score. Not in the shallow college pretty boy sense, but in the musical environment. Remember that Bugs Bunny episode when Bugs is a conductor of the symphony and that bee is tomenting him and the orchestra(playing flight of the bumblebee no less) the orchestra is tied to the baton faster and slower as Bugs reacts to the Bee? What am I getting at is I like to conduct, score and arrange. As a very part time muscian my personal involvement in actualy playing, writing, and creating music has diminished greatly over the past few years; and has been replaced buy an endless facination with developing playlists on my iPod. I have always been a 'mixed tape' creator. Copies of my dubbed tapes could be found in various gloveboxes accross Western Canada. It is someting I have always done...

The prusit of the perfect mix.

This blog is a call to similar mixers across the world to share the music they love. The format is simple submit your mix to the itunes music store imix function and comment and post your imix to i likegoodmusic. Talk about your mixing process why you picked the songs. Help others find out about your favorite bands and discover new music for your collection.
